Kristin M. Frank Art (from here on referred to as Kristin, Kristin Frank, or the artist) holds intellectual property rights and ownership of artwork, images, illustrations, photos, content, and text found on this site. The artwork, images, illustrations, photos, content, and text may NOT be reproduced or repurposed for sale and or any type of distribution. Accessing and using this site gives you no rights to reproduce any of the images.

Social Media Content Sharing
Sharing of the content (artwork, images, illustrations, photos, or text) from this site is allowed only if a visible link to this site and visible credit to the artist (Kristin Frank) is given on the social media post. The content (artwork, images, illustrations, photos, or text) should be in no way altered in the social media share and or post, and it should appear in the same way it is found on this site with legible credit given to the artist, Kristin M. Frank.

Original Prints (From this point on understand that original prints refer to: Intaglio, Relief, Silk Screen, Photogravure, and Monoprints)
The above-mentioned types of prints are original works of art, which were designed, created, and hand printed, individually by the artist. They are not reproductions. They stand-alone as individual pieces of art, and are all signed by the artist and numbered respectively. You also understand that these original prints are each unique and no two will be exactly alike.

You understand and agree that these aforementioned prints are created as limited edition prints and are numbered as such.

Signed Artwork
The artist (Kristin Frank) signs her original works, original prints, and giclées. The signature is usually at the bottom of the piece. The location for the signature is always stated in the info section about the piece. For example, “Signed L/R” denotes a signature on the lower right and “Signed L/L” denotes a signature on the lower left.

The artist has signed the work to mark originality, approval, and quality. The artist (Kristin Frank) does not stamp or use a signature creating aid to place signatures onto work. Understand that Kristin M. Frank’s original signature may appear in graphite pencil, ink pen, or various types of paint. She choses a medium and tool to sign her works, which will compliment the specific work.

Limited Editions
As stated above, both original prints and giclée prints are created as limited editions. The print (both original or giclée) is numbered on the lower left of the image or paper. As a limited edition, that means the artist has chosen how many of the print to create for the first edition, and there will be no more of that first stated printing.

However, once the first edition is printed in its completion, the artist (Kristin M. Frank), may, at any time, create a second edition of these prints, if she decides to do so. If another edition is made, after the first edition, those of the later edition will be clearly marked as a second edition printing by the artist (Kristin Frank). As long as the artist (Kristin Frank) has pulled and printed these prints herself, these second edition prints do not hold any lesser value than the first edition prints. The second edition or later prints will hold equal value as first edition prints.

You also agree and understand that the numbering and edition process has no correlation to pieces being of more or lesser value than another. The numbering process is used for the sole purpose of delineating and branding that original piece of art. You understand and agree that the Artist Proof (A.P.) of each series was created for the artist to base quality of all other prints on, and this A.P. is of greater value, and if this piece is sold, it will be priced accordingly.

Color and Display
You understand that all artwork, images, illustrations, and photos on this site have been edited to display the colors of the original artwork as accurately as possible. The colors were not enhanced for digital aesthetic. Color and lighting on images has been edited to match the original work.

You also understand that the colors in these aforementioned images may appear differently on different monitors. Care and diligence in editing has been taken so that these above mentioned images will appear as true to the original artwork on most monitors and digital displays. Kristin Frank is not responsible for conflicts that may arise in color display when viewing this site and images on different displays or monitors.

Edited Images
You understand that the images of watercolor illustrations in the portfolio section of the site were cropped from their original paper backgrounds. This was done for uniformity of the images and quality of viewing the painting on the site.

Images of the watercolor illustrations with their paper backgrounds still intact can be found on the “shop” section of the site (this statement is applicable if the painting is available for sale). This gives the client a view of what the illustration looks like on its specific paper. Either cold press or hot press paper is used for watercolor paintings, and that is denoted in the info and description about each specific piece.

Third Party Services
This site uses third party services for completing services like ecommerce and payments. When you use these services, you are also agreeing to their terms and policies.

Your Personal Information
Your personal information is used for the sole purpose of processing orders. This info is kept private. Third party services use your information when providing these services associated with processing orders. Your information is not shared with any other third party services.

Email correspondences (either directly to the artist or completed through the contact page) are also kept private.

Usage Information
This site uses Squarespace Analytics to monitor site usage. You are agreeing to their terms and policies. Kristin M. Frank uses Squarespace Analytics for the sole purpose of monitoring site performance and usage.

eCommerce, Payments and Purchasing Policy
Payments are completed through the third party payment processor, Stripe. You are subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the aforementioned payment processor.
You agree to pay Kristin M. Frank through the ecommerce payment processor in full. You agree to pay the full amount as charged, which includes fees such as shipping and state sales tax.

Shipping Policy

Standard Shipping

Once you have completed an order via the online store, you will receive a verification email and receipt. Kristin Frank will ship the artwork within one week / 7 business days (after the order is placed). All shipments are sent via FedEx, USPS, or Craters and Freighters New Orleans. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification that also includes a tracking number. Standard shipments will arrive in seven to ten business days (after notification of shipment email with tracking number).

Large paintings, framed items, and delicate shadowbox pieces will ship via Craters & Freighters New Orleans or FedEx.

The cost of shipping is determined by artwork size / packaging / and/or crating materials used.

Packaging Terms
All art will be packaged properly for shipping. Artwork packaged flat will be backed on acid free mat-board, and will be packaged in an archival acid-free plastic sleeve before being packaged in a flat, padded mailer, envelope, or box. Artwork that is rolled for shipping will be placed in an archival acid-free plastic sleeve and then rolled and secured in the mailer tube. All works will be packaged with great care.

Returns Policy
I do not accept returns. All sales are final on artwork and prints.
However, if the artwork is damaged in shipping, I will refund your money (which includes the total price of artwork and the fees such as shipping and taxes associated with the purchase) as long as damages are documented in the following way. Please see my damage policy below to ensure that I can issue a full refund. If these steps are not followed, no refund will be given.

Damage Policy
If damages occurred in the shipping process, please contact and follow these steps to arrange a refund. Note, you must contact me within five (5) days of receiving the shipment to receive a refund. Otherwise, this damage policy is void.

· Always check to see if the mailer and packaging is damaged before opening. Artwork will be properly packaged for shipping.

· If the mailer looks to be damaged, please photograph it before opening.

· If the artwork is damaged as well, please photograph those damages.

· Contact me directly about this, and email me the photos.

· Please note that photos of the damages must be taken and sent to me before a refund is issued. Photos are also needed for insurance purposes.
